My Tarot Font builds on the uppercase characters seen in the original 1912 Waite Tarot deck. Each character has been carefully crafted to preserve the unique, hand-drawn appearance that gives the cards' lettering its distinctive personality while polishing them enough for contemporary Graphic Design.
Since the original tarot cards didn't include lowercase letters, I designed those from scratch. The lowercase characters of the Tarot Font are designed to complement the uppercase set with its mystical and hand-drawn feel.
Version 2 is out now with much improved kerning and changes to some glyphs. Tarotheque is completely free for personal use. You can obtain a commercial license using the links above.
